Sweet and spicy, these delectable banana fritters are perfect for breakfast, brunch or dessert! Recipe by Mikaela Nelson @fluentinveg

Ingredients

  • 95g Gluten Free Fantastic Fritter Mix
  • 120ml water
  • 2 large ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 teaspoon mixed spice powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sultanas
  • Butter or margarine for cooking
  • Melted dark chocolate, vanilla ice cream and/or frozen raspberries for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, add measure of Fogdog Fantastic Fritter Mix and 120ml water. Whisk until thick and smooth.
  2. Add the mashed bananas, mixed spice, cinnamon and sultanas to the batter. Mix well.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1/2 tsp butter.
  4. Scoop spoonfuls of batter into the pan and fry on each side for 2-3 minutes.
  5. To melt your dark chocolate, microwave the pieces in a microwave-safe bowl in short bursts (30 seconds).
  6. Serve with your toppings of choice and enjoy!
